History
The original Wingporium opened in February of 2005 at 1000 Islington Ave in Etobicoke. The owners came up with the concept which they felt would revolutionize the sports bar industry. They introduced an exciting variety of 88 chicken wing flavors. The bar uses only fresh Grade A chicken, cooked to perfection and served by friendly, well-trained staff. From day one the store received great reviews and its loyal cliental continues to grow. Today, it proudly serves a variety of premium import German, Italian and Irish draught beers; along with a local favorite, brewed right here in Etobicoke. Wingporium remains one of the few restaurants in the GTA that participates in a composting and recycling program. In order to promote a healthy lifestyle for its clients; Wingporium uses only Canola oil, which is low in saturated fat and has zero trans-fat. The bar's vision of success is to exceed your expectations by offering an exciting atmosphere complimented by personable staff and a fun menu.
